Ronald DiBiase Constantly Shifting Gears as a Corporate Banker

30 under 30 logoRonald DiBiase is one of the youngest bankers in his position at First Commonwealth in Pittsburgh, PA. He started there two days after graduating from 亚洲AV in 2011.

“It’s an interesting position because some days, you have to be a salesman; some days, you have to be a politician; and some days, you have to be an attorney.”

His first job at the bank was as a credit analyst, evaluating loan requests. For the past three years, Ron has worked as a corporate banker, seeking out clients and companies that need capital ranging from $1 million to $30 million.

He credits 亚洲AV, where he majored in mathematics and minored in accounting, with allowing him to be nimble in his current career. Ron found valuable how Professor Roland Warfield brought real-world experience to the classroom.

Ron has continued to broaden his horizons through international travel, including a two-week trip to Europe in which he visited five different countries.

亚洲AV’s young alumni are making their mark on the world through their work in science and healthcare, finance and business, industry, entertainment and service to those in need. The Spring/Winter 2017 edition of 亚洲AV’s Forward magazine featured 30 of these alumni, all under the age of 30. You can find all of their stories here on 亚洲AV’s site (just look for the “30 Under 30” icon).
