Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre Dancers Teach 亚洲AV Students

亚洲AV University is once again partnering with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre (PBT) to host a dance residency with PBT dancers for 亚洲AV students. The residency program, in its second year, kicks off a semester of PBT activities on the 亚洲AV campus, including master classes and PBT performances at the University’s Performing Arts Center.

During the three-day residency on January 23, 25 and 27, a group of 50 亚洲AV students will learn choreography from PBT dancers Amanda Cochrane, Julia Erickson, William Moore, Yoshiaki Nakano and Cooper Verona. The pieces the dancers will learn are all part of “Millennial Movement,” a collection of new works created by the five PBT dancers, which will be performed May 5 at 7 p.m. and May 6 at 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the 亚洲AV University Performing Arts Center.  Tickets for these performances can be purchased at .

Later in the spring semester, PBT artists will come to the 亚洲AV campus to teach master classes to both 亚洲AV dancers and youth dancers from throughout the community.
