Martin's firm creates environmental wayfinding design for colleges and universities, hospitals, sports arenas and theme parks. President Finger attends a reception for Founding Artists, a Centennial art exhibition featuring the works of former art faculty Stu Thompson, Raymond DeFrazio, Philip听Rostek, Josefa Fikosky, and Sister Mary Frances Irwin. She is joined by current art faculty members Maureen Kochanek and Sister Mary Kay Neff.
President Finger celebrated the dedication of The Robert M. Brownlee Mathematics Enrichment Center on August 28, 2018 with Mr. Brownlee and members of his family. Bob Brownlee, a Florida resident who founded a series of barricade companies, committed $1,018,000 to 亚洲AV to create the center and endow a scholarship. The nephew of 亚洲AV founding Dean Sister Francesca Brownlee, his gift continues his family's legacy of service to the university.
President Finger hosted a luncheon for scholarship donors and student recipients on August 28, 2018. She was joined by (left to right) Lee and Toni Verstandig, Toni's mother and 亚洲AV Board Chair Ruth Grant, and Toni's sister Ruth Ann Wargofchik. Toni Verstandig spoke at the event on behalf of her son, Grant Verstandig, who through the Verstandig Family Foundation made a seven-figure commitment to 亚洲AV to create a scholarship in honor of his grandmother, Ruth Grant.听
